Who We Are

Ali Slorach has over 13 years experience in the tourism industry. After completing her business studies, she honed her small to medium size business skills focusing on the improvement of processes for others within the corporate arena.  From here she established her own company (Azuri Consulting) which managed the marketing for small business operators across regional Victoria. After a move to Point Lonsdale, she was thrilled to commence working with BIG4 Beacon Resort, Queenscliff as their Marketing Manager.  She worked for Beacon Resort for 6 years as their domestic Marketing Manager and then went on to successfully create a strong and valuable revenue stream for them as their International Sales Manager. During this time, she also managed the marketing for several other properties and businesses throughout Victoria assisting with the growth of their business and training in the ever-changing technology development. In 2017, BIG4 Holiday Parks Australia enlisted her to assist them with their international profile.

Jo Keown has 29 years’ experience in Tourism and Hospitality, after completing a Degree in Secondary Education she developed her love of the travel industry after extensively travelling the world. Returning to Australia her tourism career commenced as a retail Travel Agent, moving into tertiary education as the Victorian AFTA Travel College Manager and then later at William Angliss Institute where she managed and lectured marketing and business in both the Tourism and Hospitality departments. After successfully completing her Master in Marketing (majoring in consumer behaviour & tourism), she landed a position as Park Support and Quality Manager at BIG4 Holiday Parks National Support Office where she supported over 90 Holiday Parks across Australia with brand and local area marketing. Seeing a need to train caravan parks to market themselves across an ever-increasing digital marketplace she decided to open her own business and spent 3.5 years at BIG4 Gold Coast initially as their marketing manager, then incorporating revenue management and systems project manager.
